Cake (Cupcakes!)

Here's the cake tier thing for my little cake and a few cupcakes... I found it at Hobby Lobby for like $10 (the big one was $7, the little one was $3). Sorry it's a little dusty in this picture...
And here are my cake toppers, a little me and a little Nick bird! I found some just like them on Etsy (for like $60 a bird) and made some myself. It only took me 6 months (of off and on trying) and 8 attempts (for patterning purposes) before I finally got these little cuties perfected!

Additional Stuff

I've been struggling with spending money on a guest book... I mean, what is it really. A book where everyone signs their name. Great. Why would I ever want to spend $40+ on that... UNTIL I found the on above on Etsy.com. She made it just for me so I was able to tell her how many guests max I thought would come so there aren't like 20 blank guest signature pages when the wedding is over plus there are like 30 pages of acid free card stock in the back that we can use as a scrapbook.

Here is my flip flop idea. It was one of the first ideas I ever saw in a wedding magazine back in August. This bride was talking about how she bought some cheap Old Navy flip flops in her wedding colors and put them in a basket near the dance floor at the reception for all the women who have sore feet due to their shoes. So in an attempt to not have an ol' barefoot Arkansan wedding, I did the same thing... and put them in this handy little basket I got on sale at Hobby Lobby. I think they turned out cute!!!
